Our Two Cents
So, as you have probably noticed, we list more than just watering holes and lounges on JCBG. We throw any business on here that serves tasty liquor to us.
Komegashi makes killer sushi and brings plenty of refreshing drinks to you. Their sister establishment has more of an actual "bar" per se, yet the Montgomery Street location has plenty of ice cold brews, wine, sake and soju for you to guzzle. You can come in, take a table and sort out your drink order while you decide on food or even sit at the sushi bar as you await pickup (or not) and sink a bomber sized Kirin. If you are staying awhile for dinner, they have always got a house sake (served warm only) that surely satisfies ad does a great job at opening up the gullet for about 7 bucks. Their other drinks are priced reasonably, too.
The staff is very friendly without being gushy and they are totally kid friendly at this location. We have yet to explore the upstairs but we are pretty sure it would be a great spot to gobble copious amounts of soosh while getting rather "happy" with a non-stop drinkie-poo supply.
No taps and a limited beer offering are the only drawbacks to this location.
